Abstract

Multi-cell biological models often require multiple simulations with varying parameters to optimize the model. The project will explore the use of cloud computing, via FutureGrid, for such simulations.

Intellectual Merit

This project will help advance the understanding of very complex interactions in biological modeling.

Broader Impacts

The output of these simulations can be visualized and presented to a general audience (including middle to high school students) to educate them about both computational science and biology.
